Holmdel High School Lip Dub
The story behind the video...
At the end of my senior year at Holmdel High School Television Society was given around four weeks to organize and film its first ever lip dub. As Field Producer of the society, I immediately hopped on board for the pre-production process.
First, we all agreed upon song selections and then moved to area assignments throughout the school. I was given a section of the high school too organize with various clubs and organizations to be in. We ran through the route that the camera would take through the school and specific ideas for each section almost daily. I spent most of my last portion of senior year balancing this video, my job as Field Producer, my academics, and my sport.
We only had a limited amount of time to plan, around a month and a half, and sadly what seemed like little enthusiasm from our fellow classmates. Luckily, we successfully got the entire school excited after a lot of campaigning to various societies and teachers. Now, when I look back on the video, it feels like a virtual yearbook and I so grateful that we made it.
The resulting video is what we managed to accomplish with a small group of coordinators and a large amount of dedication.
